We love photography. It is our passion.
Growing up in the scenic little town of Taiping, we developed our interest for art at a young age. For hours we would entomb ourselves under hills of drawing sheets, drafting flying birds and painting blue skies, all under the watchful eyes of our mothers. Yeah. We were that passionate. Thankfully, our efforts weren’t in vain. We won numerous drawing competitions.
Over the years, we didn’t draw anymore. Nothing but mathematical graphs. It wasn’t long before our creativity fizzled away and we started to speak calculus rather than our mother tongue. We realized we had to do something. Photography came naturally afterwards as a seamless way to continue our artistic journey. And like all other persons who were greatly inspired, we’ve never been the same ever since.
We started with films and compacts. Late 2007, we embraced digital SLR after getting ourselves each a Nikon D40. Throughout the years, we continued to hone our photographic skill by reading, attending seminars, and most importantly, by immersing ourselves in crafting hundreds and thousands of photos.
The best images that will be cherished for a lifetime are usually unscripted, unforgettable moments when people are just being themselves. Those split second of laughs, killer dance moves or heartfelt moments, captured through our lens, will become timeless pieces of art treasured by families and friends for generations to come.
Besides covering weddings, engagements, family portraits and all other memorable moments for our clients, we too spend time capturing nature’s best. If you bump into us at parks shooting at ground level on our bellies, say hi. We are not weirdos tasting the earth and we don’t bite. Who knows, you may even find your portraits at the top of this blog later.
